Cut in a tomato red 100% cotton selvedge denim, woven in France, the Annecy Jeans are designed with a deliberately looser, more relaxed fit than our usual denim.
Inspired by the easy workwear and leisure clothing of the French Alps, they have a slightly worn-in, utilitarian character — somewhere between 1930s alpine clothing and relaxed 1990s denim. The leg falls wide and straight from the hip, giving them an easy silhouette that works particularly well worn low and relaxed.
The French-woven denim has a substantial but comfortable handle, designed to soften and develop character with wear. The tomato-red colour gives the jeans their distinctive look: bold, but softened by the washed denim finish so they still feel understated and wearable.
